Nguma Island in the Okavango Delta is a paradise. Whether you visit us to enjoy our spectacular bird life, or whether you want to experience the abundance of aquatic life such as crocodile and hippos, Nguma Island is the place to be.

Our luxury en-suite chalets are built on poles with wood and canvas. All our different rooms stand far apart to ensure privacy. The different rooms are connected to each other by boardwalks in order to minimize the impact on the enviroment.

The restaurant and bar area at Nguma Island Lodge offers spectacular views over the Okavango Delta. Nguma Island serves excellent meals for all guests.

DELTA DAWN CAMPSITE: is a shaded wonderland with lawns and well-appointed campsites for self-erected tents or roof top tents. There is a bar, restaurant, viewing platforms with built in boma and 5 bedded self-catering units for those that do not have their own tents or equipment.

SELF-CATERING UNITS: The self-catering units are erected on raised platforms with flood plain views and separate ablution blocks with hot and cold running water and flush sanitation. These units are fully serviced and all linen is provided, except for towels.
