Close to the beach, shops, banks, swimming pool, filling stations and a number of interesting shops, the Municipal Rest Camp offers Fisherman’s Units, A-shaped bungalows and VIP bungalows to accommodate families and groups of varying sizes.

All units in Swakopmund’s Municipal Rest Camp are en suite and self-catering (self contained) and are equipped with a safe and telephone. No towels are provided in any of the accommodation options, while the A-framed chalets and Fisherman’s Units also do not provide crockery and cutlery. The VIP Rest-House and the Luxury Rest-House options provide cutlery, crockery, kitchen, lounge, laundry, lock-up garage and veranda with braai facilities. The Swakopmund Municipal Rest Camp now offers a restaurant on the premises, and they even deliver your breakfast to your bungalow!

Cutlery and crockery for all other units are available from storeroom only during normal office hours (07h30-13h00 & 14h00-16h30) weekends and public holidays (09h00-11h00)
