Ombinda Country Lodge

The Ombinda Country Lodge near Outjo, Namibia, is a lovely family country lodge offering comfortable, tastefully decorated thatched accommodation in a lush garden. This is the ideal stopover if you are planning a trip to the Etosha National Park, the Petrified Forest, Vingerklip and Twyfelfontein.

The 16 thatched double bungalows and 4 triple family units are all en suite and during wintertime snug electrical blankets are provided. The Ombinda Country Lodge has a number of camp sites on grass, with power points, shared ablution blocks, a laundry, and use of the pool area and restaurant lapa

The thatched lapa offers a variety of cuisine, including a buffet and a la carte menu. The Ombinda Country Lodge will provide a typical Namibian braai for large groups, on request. You can enjoy a variety of refreshing drinks in the bar area. The Lodge is renowned for its catering facilities for weddings, conferences and more.

While the Ombinda Country Lodge is primarily a stopover establishment, guests can nonetheless enjoy the use of 3 tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course (own equipment needed for both sports). The area surrounding the Ombinda Country Lodge is a birdwatchers paradise and you will be able to see a number of Namibian bird species.
