URIKARUUS WILDERNESS CAMP

Without moving from your camp you may be privileged to witness herds of springbok, wildebeest, giraffe, lion or even cheetah. Surrounded by Camelthorn trees, this lofted camp overlooks a very active waterhole in the riverbed. The trees attract thousands of birds - sandgrouse, finches, doves and falcons, to name a few. Urikaruus is situated on the bank of Auob River between Twee Rivieren and Mata Mata camps. There are 4 units sleeping 2 people each and there is solar and gas power, but no convential plugs. The units are linked by a raised boardwalk. For supplies Twee Rivieren is a 2 hour drive away.
