The Khaudum Game park is only accessible by four-wheel drive vehicles. The park is home to herds of elephants, roan, eland, kudu, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, wild dog and lion. Visitors must be aware that the sand is very loose and the park is extremely remote. Travelling on your own is not recommended.

For those lucky enough to manage to put a party of at least two vehicles together, the rewards will be great. Make sure that you take at least 80 liters of extra fuel per vehicle. Drinking water is available at the camp site.

There are no lodges in this park and camping is rather primitive. Prior bookings are not necessary.
